Welcome to Scrolo. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Scrolo website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using Scrolo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About Scrolo

Scrolo is a carousel and content creation platform available through:

  • Website
  • Mobile applications (Android and iOS)

Scrolo currently provides free access to its Services. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

By using Scrolo, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old
  • You have the legal ability to agree to these Terms
  • You will use the Services in compliance with applicable laws

3. Accounts

To access the template gallery and core features of the mobile app, you must create an account. Scrolo offers three sign-in methods:

  • Sign in with Apple
  • Sign in with Google
  • Email + OTP (a one-time password sent to your email address)
  • You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings menu. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is deleted and what remains in local device storage.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Scrolo for unlawful purposes
  • Upload or distribute malicious code or harmful content
  • Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Services
  • Reverse engineer or copy significant portions of Scrolo
  • Use automated systems to abuse or overload the platform
  • Violate intellectual property or privacy rights of others, including uploading photos, videos, or other content into templates that you do not have the rights to use
  • Create or access an account using another person's identity or information without their permission
  • Share your account credentials with others or use another user's account without authorization

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access for users who violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload using Scrolo, including images, designs, carousels, graphics, and text content. Scrolo does not claim ownership of your content.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use and share any content you create or upload through the Services, including any photos or videos imported from your device's photo library into a template.

6. Intellectual Property

All Scrolo branding, logos, software, interface designs, website content, and related materials are owned by Scrolo or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Without our written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, modify, or commercially exploit any part of Scrolo.

7. Third-Party Services

Scrolo may use or integrate third-party services and technologies, including analytics and infrastructure providers. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Scrolo is not responsible for third-party services or external websites.

8. Availability of Services

We strive to keep Scrolo available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, complete reliability, or permanent feature availability. Services may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable at any time.

9. Disclaimer

Scrolo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scrolo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability or reliability.

Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scrolo shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of data, business interruption, loss of profits, content loss, or damages arising from use or inability to use the Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Scrolo harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

12. Privacy

Your use of Scrolo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the Scrolo app from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply between you and us (not Apple):

  • This license is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app.
  • Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not disclaimed in these Terms.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation.
  • Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the app infringes their intellectual property rights.
  • Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Scrolo after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Scrolo at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused the Services. You may also terminate your account at any time as described in Section 3.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gujarat, India.
